CODN - CHRISTIAN OPEN DEVELOPMENT NETWORK

Creating an open source software movement for the Christian community to help Christian ministries to be effective and efficient.

The first project is to develop software, which will help to network the intercessors around the world to create a prayer network. The focus for this network is to pray for persecution and global evangelism. This prayer network will be launched by the Potter's Ministries and also will be available for other ministries to start their own prayer network

Brief Functional Specification

• Able to collect information from the intercessor on the specific burden for a particular geographic region
  
• Send relevant prayer points every month or every two weeks.
  
• The content for the prayer points will be collected from different databases worldwide

Our initial need for this project is for volunteers who can write software requirements document (SRD) from the functional specification, evaluate architectures, evaluate open source tools already available in the areas of scraping, knowledge management, content management, user management and portals.
