YOU ARE VALUABLE By Jemima Rayan Once we know how valuable we are to our Lord, our whole perspective of life changes. Many people have depreciated their own lives by talking negative about themselves. The way God created man shows us how much care and effort was involved to create Adam. The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit worked together. God formed Adam by taking the dust in His hands; breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Every organ of that body functioned perfectly. No other being has ever been created in such a marvelous way. Man then sinned against God and we see God paying the biggest
price to redeem mankind to Himself. This is marvelous. The Bible
says each one of us is a priced possession to our Lord because
the Lord Jesus has paid a price to redeem us in the cross of
Calvary. You are a priceless pearl: In Matthew 13:45-46 Jesus told a parable that describes our redemption. "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it." In this parable, Jesus is the merchant, who has spent a lifetime in pearls. He knows the value of every kind of pearl. The pearl represents you or me. It cost Him all that He had and owned. So what does this mean to you and me? Each of us is like that one priceless pearl. It cost Jesus everything to buy us back to Himself. Your hair is numbered: Jesus said, 'But the very hairs of your head are all numbered' (Matthew 10:30) No one can number our hair except God. But why does God number our hair that one day is in the head and another day in the garbage? Because, He cares, for even the minute detail of our life. How may times have we, in our tough times thought if God has forgotten us? He has not. He never will. "Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you' (Isaiah 49:15). Never ever for one moment think if God has forgotten you. He never ever will forget you. Be of good cheer! You are a royal diadem: You are a king's kid. Believe it or not, the Bible says, we are a royal priesthood. We belong to the Kingdom of God and God looks at every one as a king. God is the King of Kings. We are royal diadems (something that adorns like a crown). Praise God! 'You shall also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, And a royal diadem in the hand of your God' (Psalm 62:3) When we have something in our hand, it means that it is so personal to us. In this verse, two times, the word, 'hand of the God' is mentioned. That shows, there is an emphasis. There are hundreds of scriptures that tell us that we are in the hands of our God. We are not only precious to Almighty God but very personal too. You are more valuable than sparrows: Jesus said," Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into their barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them, Are you not of more value then they? (Matthew 6:26) Jesus said, 'Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows' (Matthew 10:31) Have you ever wondered at the
birds and said, 'Look at these, they have no problem in this world'?
Praise God you can be even better off than a bird. The Bible says,
in the eyes of God, we are more precious than them. We are made
in the likeness of God. We are more precious then they. Hallelujah! Begin to see yourself like God sees. Believe God's word without doubt and unbelief. Soon your whole perspective will change. Praise the Lord. May the Lord bless His word in Jesus name. Amen. |
